Wayland Blazers U10 Baseball Issued Gear
The Wayland Blazers U10 baseball team were issued gear for the 2010 season.

Wayland Blazers vs. Legends Navy U10
The Wayland Blazers take on the Legends Navy U10 team April 18, 2010 in a Saturday double-header at the Riverview Field in Wayland.
Game one starts at 10:00 a.m. and game two starts at noon.
Coach Equipment Review - Hit A Way PTS

My first impression with the HitAWay PTS by Sklz Baseball was basically complete surprise.
I'm a pretty savvy consumer and I had checked out the HitAWay PTS on the website videos and even at the local Sports Authority store before I had a chance to do this blog review, and I thought I had a pretty good idea about this training device.
However after helping Seamus lift the box into the house and unpacking the box, I was nearly shocked to learn that the HitAWay PTS is actually a rather heavy-duty piece of training equipment. It is amazingly solid, with a very steady platform and very solid construction.
PTS stands for "portable training station" and with its folding action the HitAWay PTS is also easily portable. It won't fit in a backpack, but between the bat bag, the ball bucket and the bag with catcher's gear, my car trunk has a lot of gear in it already on game day or on the way to baseball practice.
Adding the HitAWay PTS isn't any trouble at all, and I plan to bring it along to all of the team practices and games.

Seamus Back Foot Hitting Drill
Seamus works out with the Wayland Blazers at Frozen Ropes in Natick.
In this hitting drill Seamus intentionally steps back with his back foot in order to focus on a proper weight shift.
10U Blazers Season Opener vs. Waltham Jr. Hawks
The 10U Wayland Blazers open the playing season on April 3 at Veteran Memorial Field in Waltham with non-conference action against the Waltham Jr. Hawks.
Come out to support the Wayland Blazers!

Wayland Blazers Enter Duquette Memorial Day Tournament
The Wayland Blazers 10U AAU team will compete in the Spring Fling Weekend Tournament at Dan Duquette Sports Academy.

Dan Duquette is the former General Manager of the Boston Red Sox.
Seamus to Begin Hitting Lessons at Frozen Ropes
As part of his contract with the 10U AAU Wayland Blazers, Seamus is scheduled for ten 1/2 hour instructional sessions at Frozen Ropes Baseball Academy in Natick, Massachusetts.
Seamus plans his first lesson on St. Patrick's Day 2010.

The Hit Away PTS is a great training system. Anyone can use it in many different ways like high, low, inside and outside.
The Hit A Way PTS can be used indoors and out doors if you have a big enough space.
The Hit A Way PTS looks like a long metal pole with two strings attached to a ball.
The Hit A Way PTS is great because you can keep hitting and hitting.

Arlington Angels Plan First Workout
The Angels in Arlington's American League plan to hold their first workout at Extra Innings in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Angels coaching staff will be using Extra Innings facilities to run their first workouts of the major league season on Monday, March 15, 2010.

Seamus has been signed by the Wayland Blazers 10U Team of the New England American Athletic Union League.
Seamus will pitch and play various other positions for the 10U Blazers during the regular season and in tournament play.

After a successful tryout on Sunday March 7 with the Arlington Youth Baseball Program Seamus was selected by the Angels of Arlington Cal Ripken Major League.
